Installation and Assembly

  1. Ensure each component’s thread is screwed in at least 1.5 x the diameter to avoid thread stripping. Verify this with color markings on the rod.

  2. Screw the spacer together with the turnbuckle to allow tensioning of the rod.

  3. Attach forks, turnbuckle, and coupling sleeve with other components such as the tension rod and threaded rod.

  4. For splicing with a coupling sleeve, utilize the full thread length.

  5. Tension the rod with the turnbuckle by rotating it until the required load is achieved.

  6. Install the locking bolt with normal tightening.

  7. For additional security, lock the rod by adding a hex nut at each end inside the forks and a nut in front of the turnbuckle/spanner sleeve.

  8. Use a cross sleeve if the rods are to be crossed.

The assembly and installation are now complete.
