Measuring thread tolerance and dimension tolerance

To be able to carry out advanced measurement of thread tolerances and dimension tolerances, we have extended our laboratory with an optical co-ordinate measuring machine.

The co-ordinate measuring machine provides us with the potential to measure complex hole patterns, radii, thread profiles, angles and other dimensions that are difficult to determine using conventional measuring tools.

The co-ordinate measuring machine’s data is processed in Microtest’s measurement and image processing program with a resolution of 0.001 mm.

Through the measuring machine’s data collection program, images from the measurement can be saved and analysed.The measurement data can also be converted to DXF files for presentation in AutoCad.

Thanks to the optical co-ordinate measurement, we have a unique opportunity to produce tailored products with specific requirements on our customers’ behalf.

Thread tolerances and measurement tolerances are checked with calibrated thread gauges. The checks are performed according to SS-EN ISO 965
